Eligibility: A person must be in a crisis situation to be admitted in to this facility (ie: A threat to themselves or others, or unable to care for themselves). There is trained staff on hand to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If the individual is not experiencing a crisis situation please call during normal business hours to speak to an admissions specialist. Intake procedure: Walk – in, Call. Must do a face to face interview to determine the needs of the individual’s unique case/needs.

Services Available: The LGBT Center is. There are two programs that they offer both for those who are living with HIV and those who identify with the LGBT community. Mental health counseling is available through Access AIDS Care to those who are diagnosed as HIV positive and are eligible to receive Ryan White Part A funded services. Mental health counseling is also provided on a sliding scale through the LGBT Center of Hampton Roads and is specifically designed to help individuals who identify as part of the LGBT community.
